BOYS SWIMMING: ETHAN CHURILLA – HIGHLAND TROJANS
Ethan Churilla had a record breaking week, setting the pool record at Merrillville high school in the 50 Free with a time of 21.38 seconds! He finished just short of another pool record in the 100 Free with a time of 47.88 seconds. He was also part of two winning relay teams – the 200 & 400 Freestyle. We have a feeling the Northwestern-bound swimmer will set a few more records by the time his Highland career wraps up.
GIRLS SWIMMING: EMMA KEENE – GRIFFITH PANTHERS
Griffith’s Emma Keene helped the Panthers to a third place finish at their hosted invite – their best finish in years – with wins in both the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke. She was also a big part of two second place relay times, in both the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle!
