OF THE GAME

Jackson Kurth – RB – Valparaiso – Kurth had a monster game for the Vikings as they stayed unbeaten in the DAC standings. In the win over Merrillville, Kurth ran the ball 21 times for 138 yards and three touchdowns!

BEREY BROS. BLUE COLLAR PLAYER
OF THE GAME

Tyler Bukur – LB – Valpo. Bukur helped lead the Viking defense in shutting down the dangerous Merrillville offense, amassing 10 tackles including a couple tackles for loss.

PLAY OF THE GAME

After Merrillville took a 6-0 lead, the Vikings came right back to take the lead, with this 65 yard touchdown run from Jackson Kurth as he ran untouched into the end zone! Watch Kurth show off his speed in the Orthopaedic Specialists Play of the Game in the video below!

CROWEL COMPANIES LANTERNMAN SUPER HERO
OF THE GAME

Riley Johnston – QB – Hobart. The Hobart signal caller kept the Highland defense on their heels, by doing some damage both on the ground and in the air. Johnston completed 11 of 16 passes while also rushing the ball for 87 yards and a touchdown in the 28-14 NCC win!

BEREY BROS. BLUE COLLAR PLAYER
OF THE GAME

Noah Olmos – Hobart. Olmos earns the Blue Collar Player of the Game Award thanks to his effort on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Olmos had a game changing pick six right before halftime and five tackles, while on offense he added a 10 yard catch .

PLAY OF THE GAME

Trailing 14-7 with less than a minute before halftime, Highland tried to take it to the air to cut into Hobart’s lead. But Noah Olmos of the Brickies had other ideas, picking off a Trojan pass and returning it to the end zone to make it a two touchdown game!
