1998 – Steve Young connects with Jerry Rice on the duo’s 80th touchdown pass, giving them the most for any QB-WR combo in league history.

2000 – Pat Riley becomes just the second coach in NBA history to win 1,000 career games.

2003 – University of Pittsburgh receiver Larry Fitzgerald sets an NCAA record by catching a touchdown pass in 14 consecutive games.
