1994 – Alcorn State QB Steve McNair becomes the NCAA’s career yardage leader with 15,049 yards.
2000 – Bengals running back Corey Dillon breaks the NFL record for rushing yards in a game by running for 278 yards in a win over the Broncos.
2005 – For the first time since 1994, the University of Mount Union football team loses a regular season game, snapping a streak of 110 straight regular season victories.
2012 – Lance Armstrong is officially stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and is banned for life from cycling’s governing body after a US Anti-Doping Agency report accuses him of leading a doping program among his teams.
