2015 – For the first time in MLB history, all 15 home teams won their games.

2016 – Michael Phelps becomes the first swimmer in Olympic history to win four consecutive gold medals in one event, winning his fourth straight 200-meter individual medley gold.

2021 – Soccer superstar Lionel Messi signs with Paris Saint-Germain, leaving his longtime club, FC Barcelona.
