1953 – Led by Don Schlundt scoring 30 points, Indiana beats Kansas 69-68 to win the NCAA men’s basketball national championship.

1953 – The Boston Braves move to Milwaukee.

1990 – Loyola Marymount beats Michigan 149-115 in the highest scoring NCAA tournament game ever.

1993 – Santa Clara beats Arizona 64-61 to become just the second ever #15 seed to beat a #2 seed in the opening round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
